Lovely Fanhams Hall wedding in Hertfordshire - Lucy and Richard
Lucy & Richard got married at the wonderfully luxurious Fanhams Hall, Hertfordshire in July, on one of the hottest days of the year. Sunglasses were the order of the day for their guests as the sun did not stop shining all day!
Just as well as the couple opted for an outdoor ceremony in front of the famous Japanese garden at Fanhams Hall.
Lucy chose to get ready with her bridesmaids at Fanhams Hall, kicking off with a McDonald’s breakfast delivery to the room! The girls then had their hair and make up sorted, and Lucy put on her beautiful dress ready to head down through the characteristic hallways of Fanhams Hall and along the walkway to the Japanese garden where Rich and the guests were waiting.
The ceremony began under the blisteringly hot sun, with the couples two children leading the bride along the isle, a really beautiful moment to begin the ceremony. After the registers were signed, the group exited into the gardens surrounded by their cheering guests. Ice cream was in ready supply to cool everyone down and there were games for the children (some adults) to play. I took the couple away to plant a tree (a tradition for married couples at Fanhams Hall). and then did a few portraits outside the iconic main building.
After the food and several gag packed speeches, I took the couple out for a few more portraits in some gorgeous early evening sun. The light was just perfect.
Into the evening and the guests partied hard and I managed to get some incredible shots from the dancefloor, one of may favourite parts of the day!
I had an awesome time at this Fanhams Hall wedding, and if you are planning on getting married and are looking for a Fanhams Hall wedding photographer get in touch! Here are some of the lovely photos from the day.
